Antiparos is a small island of the South Aegean in the heart of the Cyclades and is less than a nautical mile from Paros.
The ancient name of the island was Oliaros and then
renamed Antiparos, because it is located across from Paros.
It has about 1,000 inhabitants and its economy is primarily based on tourism.
The cultural interest of the island is great and you can admire it if you visit the archaeological island of Despotiko, the Cave and the Castle of Antiparos.
